GreenDimes, the largest, most trusted full-service company that gets rid of junk mail today announced an Earth Day campaign to give away a FREE GreenDimes premium subscription to every one who sees Xanadu and Spring Awakening on April 22nd and Legally Blonde The Musical on April 23rd.

Broadway lovers attending shows on those days will be given a gift certificate at their seat for GreenDimes "Premium" service which retails for $20. They can redeem it and become GreenDimes members by logging onto www.Greendimes.com and typing in a special Broadway password. In addition to stopping junk mail and catalogues, the "Premium" service continues to monitor your account every month, making sure you remain off direct marketing and catalogue lists. This service also allows unlimited household names, automated removal, and does all the work for the member.  At the same time, to offset the junk mail still being produced, GreenDimes will plant five trees for each "Premium" subscriber.

"I am thrilled that our fans can do their part simply by attending our show on Earth Day and signing up for GreenDimes. Junk mail is an everyday problem that is not only a nuisance but is also harmful to the environment," said Xanadu Producer, Tara Smith.

More than 100 million trees are chopped down each year for unsolicited mail in the U.S. and a shocking 5 percent of the waste we send to landfills is junk mail, 44 percent of which gets thrown away unopened. The average household receives over 100 pounds of junk mail a year, constituting the majority of household waste--GreenDimes reduces a whopping 90 percent of that.

"Everyone gets junk mail and no one likes it. We've created a simple solution to help every household make a positive impact on the environment," said GreenDimes Founder, Pankaj Shah.

Since it's inception in 2006 GreenDimes has stopped nearly 4 million pounds of junk mail, stopped 624,388 catalogues and planted 1,062,200 trees. These numbers are updated in real time on the user friendly site's running impact counter.

ABOUT XANADU

Put a bunch of smash pop songs, the Tony Award® nominee Douglas Carter Beane and the cutest couple in town into a Broadway blender, and what do you get? A roller-skating, disco-dancing, glow-stick-waving smash-hit musical! Taking audiences back to 1980 California, this hilarious new musical follows the beautiful Kira, who travels to earth to inspire a struggling young artist named Sonny. A vision in leg warmers and wind-swept hair, she helps this hunky painter find his voice, discover true love and build the world's first roller disco (not necessarily in that order). Starring Kerry Butler and Cheyenne Jackson, XANADU is the best-reviewed musical of the season. www.XanaduOnBroadway.com

ABOUT SPRING AWAKENING

Spring Awakening - The winner of 8 2007 Tony Awards - including Best Musical, Best Book, and Best Score - Spring Awakening has been called "the best musical of a generation" (NY Observer). Adapted from Frank Wedekind's play of the same name, with an acclaimed score by Duncan Sheik and Steven Sater, book by Steven Sater and direction by Tony-winner Michael Mayer, Spring Awakening boldly depicts how a dozen young people make their way through the thrilling, complicated, confusing and mysterious time of their sexual awakening. www.springawakening.com

 ABOUT Legally Blonde THE MUSICAL

Pink is the New Green!  It's here, and it's "AN ELLE OF A SHOW" (TIME Magazine).  The hilarious MGM film is Broadway's smash hit musical, and now Legally Blonde THE MUSICAL is celebrating its first anniversary on Broadway!  Legally Blonde follows sorority star Elle Woods, an underestimated blonde who doesn't take "no" for an answer.  When her boyfriend dumps her for someone more "serious," Elle puts down the credit card, hits the books, and sets out to go where no Delta Nu has gone before: Harvard Law. Along the way, Elle proves that being true to yourself never goes out of style.  After turning Broadway and MTV hot pink, this "Feel-Good Song and Dance Juggernaut" (New York Magazine) is "The Best New Musical Around!" (WOR).  www.LegallyBlondeTheMusical.com
