Gleeks - it's going to be a WONDERful night! No, Glee isn't going to do a tribute to Wonder Woman, although - I'd be all over that, let's be real. Nope, Glee is paying tribute to a living legend that changed the game and defied the odds - Stevie Wonder. Tonight, the glee clubbers challenge superstition and someone just might for once in their life, they have someone who needs them! Cherie Amour, Gleeks!

Rachel calls Mr. Schue to tell him that she had her callback and that if she nails the role, it's thanks to him and informs him that she sang Don't Stop Believin and that it brought back wonderful memories of her glee club days. Good news is a plenty - Will and Emma are engaged again, Brittany has early acceptance to MIT, Tina is wait listed at her second choice school, and Will declares it Stevie Wonder week!
Kitty senses something is amiss with Artie, and finds that he was accepted to the Brooklyn Film school, but doesn't plan to attend, and tells her to keep it to herself. Does he know her? Come on. Kurt is anxious about his dad's test results and comes home to Lima to wait it out, and also to visit friends, including Blaine. Kurt isn't the only one whose come home for a visit - Mercedes and Mike have returned, and sit in on Kitty delivering "Signed, Sealed, Delivered", but the performance doesn't sit well with new vocal coach of New Directions, Mercedes. Artie gets upset when after her performance, Kitty announces that he was accepted to film school, because his mother is freaking out about the idea of her son far and away in New York.
At the Lima Bean, Kurt, Blaine, Mercedes, and Mike catch up, as it becomes more clear just how rattled Kurt is about his dad's condition, but luckily he has his lovely ex and friends to be there for him. Two of NYADAs top gays inform Rachel that what she's up against for Fanny, (Mamie Gummer and Sutton Foster, say what?!) and that Cassandra July (Kate Hudson) isn't pleased - but it's them who have her in the know.
Mercedes challenges the glee club's fear with a little "Superstition". Mercedes and Mike approach Jake to be the secret weapon of glee club, and to be the featured dancer as well as be in Mercedes's music video. Tensions are high among the Hummel men in the doctor's office, but the results are positive - Burt is in remission, much to the jubilation of Carole and Kurt.
Kurt invites his dad to the choir room to dedicate "You're The Sunshine of My Life" to him, a much happier selection that his previous dedication. Cassandra interrupts Rachel as she rehearses for her callback and rains on her parade by saying she'll be there to watch her callback and watch her fail. Mike challenges Jake to show the glee club what he can really do - with a little "I Wish" to break the younger Puckerman's fear of being all can be. Oh, and they dance the hell out of it.
Mercedes is angered when her producer tells her that she needs to do a more scandalous photo shoot for her album or have the release date scrapped, but despite Kurt and Mike's support, Mercedes needs her Mama and time alone to figure things out. Artie arrived home to find Kitty chatting up his mother (Katy Segal) and reveals the big news to his mother, who is the furthest thing from unsupportive, leading to them discussing the real reason behind his fear - leaving her behind.
After the chat with his mother, Artie is New York bound - Brooklyn's here! Cassandra shocks Rachel at her "midterm" which is in fact a chance for Ms. July to be kind and show support to Rachel, along with her entire class. Of course, Ms. July sings us a little Uptight (Everything's Alright) - apparently it's Stevie Wonder week everywhere!
Mercedes delivers some truth and reveals that she would rather stay true to herself than sell out to her producer, but gives her music to the people - her people. You know what Mercedes did in this case? Took the "Higher Ground" and then belted the shit out of it in front of the glee club.
Blaine gives Burt a marriage equality pin so he can show his support for the cause, and asks Burt for the permission to ask Kurt to marry him. Burt turns down the idea of Blaine proposing, but gives him some things to think about, leaving him to his thoughts.
The glee club gets Mercedes's message, and Artie is prepared to wrap up Wonder week with passion. Rachel presents Cassandra with Debbie Allen's dance stick from Fame, and the two share a moment. Blaine seems prepared to ask Kurt to marry him, but ends up simply asking him to remain for Regionals, but the idea isn't far from his mind. Artie and The New Directions close out Wonder week with "For Once In My Life".
Oh, what a Wonder-ful episode, huh? Next week - it's Regionals time - secrets come out, a proposal is still in the air, and so much more. Until then, Gleeks!
