UCB's only musical improv team, Diamond Lion, will bring its improvised scenes and songs to this year's New York Musical Theatre Festival.  Broadway actors will share their unprepared personal stories and Diamond Lion will use those stories as the basis for an evening of spontaneous comedy, culminating in the only unscripted show of NYMF.  The show will be different every night; no song or scene will ever be seen again.

Diamond Lion is comprised of veteran improvisers Amber Petty, Ashley Ward, Michael Kayne, Winston Noel, and Morgan Phillips.

Shows are Friday, July 13th at 7 and 9, with stories from George Salazar and Julia Mattison of Broadway's Godspell and Sunday, July 15th at 9, with Bill English of Broadway's Anything Goes.  All shows take place at the Upstairs space in the 45th Street Theatre, 354 West 45th Street.  For more information or to purchase tickets, call 212.352.3101 or visit nymf.org and search keyword Diamond Lion.
