Gallery New World Stages, located at 343 West 49th Street, today announced the upcoming opening of ELEMENTS IN RED: Works On Canvas. This exhibition features 40 paintings and will be on view through March 31, 2013, only.

Featuring the works of Diego Anaya, Azure Bourne, David Cappella, Diane Churchill, Christina Ernst, Muriel Taub Glantzman, Eleanor Goldstein, Rivky Grossman, Brandon Scott Hughes, Leon Nicholas Kalas, June Kosloff, Dorothy Krakauer, Guillermo Lorente, Cesar Persi Narvaez Machica, Desiree Maldonado, Denise Martinez, Justin Masi, Joan Mellon, Pamela Mijal, Qinza Najm, Math-You Namie, Mark Nilsson, Petra Nimtz, Nuria Rabanillo-de la Fuente, Carol Radsprecher, Corinne Rendinaro, Francesco Ruspoli, Deana Sobel, Johan Wahlstrom, Joyce Yamada,

The exhibition includes New York City artists, as well as, artists from parts of Europe, South America and the Middle East. The call for art began over a year ago inviting artists to submit paintings, oil and acrylic on canvas and covers the concentrations of abstract, figurative, landscape, representational, still life and pop art.

Gallery New World Stages is a 150 linear foot exhibition space on two floors of the renowned performing arts complex New World Stages, located on the site of Worldwide Plaza in the heart of the theatre district. New World Stages houses five theatres ranging in size from 199 to 499 seats, complemented by thousands of square feet dedicated to audience and artist services.
