On Wednesday, February 3rd at 8 pm, ITV will offer UK viewers an exclusive first chance to see the US TV event of the year as a star-studded cast performs the classic musical GREASE: LIVE. The show is an attempt to recapture the grittiness of the original stage production, combined with the fun and visual richness of the hugely popular movie.

After enjoying a summer romance, high school students Danny (Gossip Girl's Aaron Tveit) and Sandy (Dancing with the Stars' Julianne Hough) are unexpectedly reunited when Sandy transfers to Rydell High. Will the meek and mild Sandy and gang leader Danny get back together despite the derision of their peers?

The production features performances from Vanessa Hudgens (High School Musical) as Rizzo, Canadian pop star Carly Rae Jepsen as Frenchy, singer Keke Palmer as Marty, Pitch Perfect star Kether Donohue as Jan, Big Time Rush's Carlos PenaVega as Kenickie, and US TV host Mario Lopez as Vince Fontaine. British pop star Jessie J is also lined up to perform the theme song, while Boyz II Men appear as Teen Angel in one of the film's best-known scenes. Grease fans will not be disappointed as all the classic songs are performed, including Hopelessly Devoted to You, Summer Nights and You're the One That I Want.
