A free staged reading of Kevin Ray Johnson's The Unpredictable Times, which made its New York debut in January 2011 with a staged reading at The Directors Studio as well as a run at The Manhattan Repertory Theatre's 2011 Winterfest, will be presented in New York City in January.

Kevin Ray Johnson will direct the coming-of-age drama The cast will feature Peter Kane as Henry, Sarah Joy Makus as Nicole, Tyler Wonders as Jake, Carolyn Ruggiero as Samantha and Sam Eisenhuth as Carl.

(Kane, Makus, Ruggiero as well as the Playwright Johnson are current resident actors at The Surflight Theatre in New Jersey in their Surflight to go touring company).

The one-act play, according to press notes, "surrounds five friends coming together after graduating college hoping for the summer of their lives. It might be there last time all together before they go out and face the so called 'Real World.' During the summer they will face unresolved issues from the past and present that will question if their friendship that was developed from Childhood is worth saving now as 'Adults.'"
