Producer Katie Riegel will present two free readings of Isaac Oliver's new play, Eddie Goshen is Dead, on Monday, March 19, at the Rock Theatre in Manhattan. Featured in the cast, under the direction of David Ruttura (NERDS://A Musical Software Satire), are Broadway regulars Manoel Felciano, Kerry O'Malley, Colin Hanlon and Jim Poulos.

"In Oliver's sharp and darkly comedic new play, Eddie Goshen is Dead , the back-to-back tenants of an East Village apartment find their lives intertwined around the life and death of a failed writer: Eddie Goshen (Felciano). Breaking conventions of time and space, the play focuses on the troubled trio tied together not only by the urban space they share, but by Eddie himself as he re-appears to his wife Anna (O'Malley), and then to reclusive Atticus (Poulos), whose partner Walter (Hanlon) can't understand why Atticus can organize a séance but fails at unpacking their moving boxes. At times magical and then grippingly realistic, Oliver's haunting story is a modern take on a timeless tale: lost love," state press materials.

Felciano was nominated for a 2006 Tony Award for his portrayal of Tobias Ragg in the recent Broadway revival of Sweeney Todd.  He was most recently seen playing the title role in Sunday in the Park with George, opposite Kelli O'Hara, directed by Jason Alexander in Los Angeles. Hanlon is currently in rehearsals to play Whizzer in Falsettos at the George Street Playhouse. He has been seen on Broadway in Rent. Off-Broadway credits include I Love You Because. Regional works includes The Last Five Years and tick, tick…BOOM!.

Poulos most recently played Bill Gates in NERDS:// A Musical Software Satire at the Philadelphia Theater Co., and this spring, he will be playing Bobby Strong in Urinetown at Geva Theater Center. Broadway and national tour work includes: Mark Cohen in Rent, Huck Finn in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors, and understudied/performed Benjamin in The Graduate, opposite Kelly McGillis.
