Fashion Photo of the Day 5/28/13 - Nicole Kidman

Is it me or does Nicole Kidman not look as beautiful as she normally looks here? Nicole! What is going on? And what's so upsetting is that this look had soo much potential but it went wrong in two key areas: the hair and the dress. I cannot believe I don't like a dress designed by Chanel but let me clarify.

The top of the dress is absolutely stunning in addition to the cut, the white beading and the black belt. But it should have ended there. I do not get the black feathers at the bottom! I just don't. I'm sorry. I really think they ruin what would have been a beautifully elegant, chic and less is more moment. But then Kidman took it a step further and made her hair into a bird's nest with a mess of braids. I just don't get it.
