Face Off Unlimited has announced its cast for the highly anticipated opening of the hilarious Goon River! The cast largely consists of veteran Face Off performers, and two of the three heads of Face Off.

Courtnay Griswold, an original Goon, has been a part of the entire development process, and is known for her wildly entertaining character voices and master storytelling. Courtnay also sings lead vocals for the well known super-band, Mission Dance.

Steve Zegers is a veteran cast member of Friday Night Face Off, the longest running improv show in Long Island history, and the show that started it all for Face Off Unlimited in 2003. Super smart and super funny, this school teacher by day, professional improviser by night is the perfect Goon.

Lyle Pinder's voice is known to millions, spending the early years of his career as an on-air personality on radio stations in Maryland and Washington D.C., as well as covering the 2008 Presidential Election for CBS. In addition to his radio work, Lyle's voice has been featured on national campaigns for Verizon Wireless and Honda. As a writer, Lyle has worked with Hulu, The Weinstein Company, and Scott Free Productions. Currently, Lyle is the host of the podcast In The Room and has a development deal for an animated series which he created and stars in.

Jen Bergum may be a junior cast member within Face Off, but she is certainly a veteran of TV and big screen alike. With national commercials under her talented belt, she is emerging as a new and bright star in the Face Off Universe. She can also be seen performing in The NYC Improv Face Off in Times Square.

Rounding out the amazingly talented cast of Goons is the Operations Director, and a partner with Face Off Unlimited, Joe Tex. Joe is a star of BATSU!, and has been performing, producing, and teaching improvisation professionally for over 15 years. He is a co-host on the hit comedy podcast In The Room, was a series regular on the smash hit sports webseries :PMSports, and is a regular guest on The Chris Hahn Show on LI's 103.9FM.

Goon River is directed and hosted by Face Off Unlimited's Artistic Director and Co-Founder, Jay Painter. Jay truly is a renaissance man in a modern world with TV and film credits as long as his illustrious stage credits. Jay is the creative force behind NYC's newest comedy production powerhouse. Jay will be providing all the live music for Goon River.

Leave it to Times Scare, New York City's only year-round haunted house attraction, to play host to GOON RIVER! Completely improvised and performed in total darkness, Goon River is a hilarious journey into the imagination. Listen as several improvised stories are cleverly woven together to create a tale of wonder and woe that you'll hardly believe is being made up on the spot, and all around you!

The production will run Sundays at 2pm. Tickets on sale now at faceoffunlimited.com/tickets. Performances play September 28 - November 2, 2014 at Times Scare at The Times Square Arts Center, Theatre Two, 669 8th Ave, New York, NY 10036.
