FROM SILENCE: A Warning from the Past for These Present Troubled Times at Theatre for the New City This Month

By: Nov. 11, 2016

Join Karen Lynn Gorney, Shannon HarringtonAudrey Heffernan Meyer, Krystal Rowley, Lori Funk, Nora Falk, Tori Murray, Dina Laura and Jessica Gollin  as they find a voice for Anne Marilyn Lucas' new play From Silence, directed by Peter Zachari

Remaining performances are at the Theater for the New City through November 20th. From Silence was inspired by book 'Say The Name: A Survivor's Tale in Prose and Poetry' by Judith Sherman.

"Through silence, trauma is passed down like a genetic disease in this gripping Holocaust play. Lucas has written a layered, original, timely play that vividly illustrates the effects of Gold's past experiences on not just herself, but her daughter and granddaughter." -Aaron Krause, Berkshire Fine Arts.

Catch one of the 6 remaining performances of From Silence. Visit Theater for the New City's site for ticket info.
