Disney's newest animated feature fim FROZEN boasts perhaps the most awesomely Broadway-centric cast of any Disney release to date, so today we are shining a special solo spotlight on each of the five major players comprising the super-cool cast of the hottest film of the winter and how specifically they are involved with it - Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Josh Gad, Jonathan Groff and Santino Fontana.

Some People Are Worth Melting For

Featuring top theatrical talents in vividly expressive and richly realized 3D animated form, Disney's FROZEN affords its estimable ensemble of actors with a compelling dramatic conceit filled with comedy, romance and adventure to go along with an evocative and moving musical score and a spectacular visual world in which to act it all out for our entertainment pleasure - in that oh-so-classic way only the house of mouse can really be relied upon to deliver. And, in FROZEN, they do - and how! Yet, more than anything else, what a dazzling line-up of leading ladies and gentlemen populate the wintry world conjured up in this instant classic.

FROZEN stars Tony Award winner Idina Menzel, THE BOOK OF MORMON'S Josh Gad, SPRING AWAKENING's Jonathan Groff as well as Rodgers & Hammerstein's CINDERELLA prince Santino Fontana and the multi-talented leading lady herself, Kristen Bell, who has famously appeared onstage and onscreen in musicals ranging from THE ADVENTURES OF HUCKLEBERRY FINN to REEFER MADNESS and beyond, to merely cite the cast's most notable stage credits - quite a list by any measure, to say the very least!

Surely, the impressive credits amassed by this swoon-worthy selection of seasoned pros and up-and-coming superstars is incredibly enviable - pop culture touchstones WICKED to GLEE to THE BOOK OF MORMON, CINDERELLA and more encompassed in the wide-ranging list of roles having been played. Indeed, the collective star-wattage alone is enough to set any Broadway baby's inner marquee alight, compounded by the fact that FROZEN also features a score by AVENUE Q Tony Award-winning composer/lyricist Robert Lopez, working with collaborator Kristen Anderson-Lopez. On that note, FROZEN showcases one of the most dynamic and expansive scores utilized in a Disney film thus far - which is really saying something - making it not only a musical must-see because of the terrifically theatrically-aligned cast and creative team, but also because of the actual content of the film itself.

A full-blown movie musical, an animation feast and an all-around exceptional entertainment experience, FROZEN is highlighted by unforgettable performance showpieces for the amply able stable of stars assembled to enact the tale of redemption, sisterhood and friendship, with some seriously stage-worthy show-stoppers among the many memorable moments it presents - musical, dramatic and otherwise. As already previewed in the recently released promo single "Let It Go" - introduced this summer at D23 by Elsa (aka Ms. Menzel) herself, and now available in a pop version recently released by popular X FACTOR judge and current GLEE guest star Demi Lovato - FROZEN is filled to the highest mountaintop with copious appreciable attributes in its favor, particularly whenever this seriously starry crew of pros do what they do best - and, in many cases, nobody does it better... at least not this side of Arendelle!
