Eunji Lim Will Return to IN THEIR FOOTSTEPS at Orlando Fringe Festival

Eunji Lim will return to the documentary theatre production In Their Footsteps, presented by Infinite Variety Productions at the Orlando International Fringe Theatre Festival.

Following its international touring history and recent performances in New York, the award-winning work arrives at Orlando Fringe for its Florida presentation, with previews beginning May 15, opening night on May 16, and performances running through May 24.

In Their Footsteps is a verbatim theatre piece created from oral histories of five women-both military and civilian-who served during the Vietnam War. Through a physically dynamic staging style that transforms a simple set of wooden blocks into helicopters, bunkers, and military spaces, the production explores memory, survival, and the often-overlooked experiences of women in wartime.

"It feels incredibly meaningful to return to this story, especially in the time we are living in right now," said Lim. "It's easy to forget that our present has been shaped by histories and by people who sacrificed and dedicated their lives to something larger than themselves. I hope this piece resonates with audiences and allows them to reflect on how much these women endured and survived during their time in Vietnam."

Eunji Lim appears in the ensemble cast as Lily Adams, an Army Nurse Corps nurse stationed in Vietnam, contributing to the layered storytelling that shifts fluidly between personal testimony and collective memory.

The production is written and directed by Ash Singer and produced by Infinite Variety Productions, an award-winning company dedicated to amplifying the voices of women historically left out of the record. The piece continues its mission of preserving lived history through immersive, documentary-based performance.

Orlando Fringe marks a continued chapter in the show's touring life, which has included performances across the United States and internationally.

Performances will run  May 15 - May 24, 2026 at Orlando International Fringe Theatre Festival, Orlando, FL.
