Essential Theatre Group (producing director Tony Lance) and Cornice Productions (Terra Mackintosh, Matt Renskers, Ryan Krause and Kimille Howard) will present Bryony Lavery's Frozen for a limited engagement, January 14-30, 2015

Bryony Lavery's Frozen tells the story of three strangers who are drawn together by horrific circumstances. The mother of a child who has disappeared, the kidnapper, and an academic studying serial killers embark on a long and dark journey spanning twenty years. Frozen explores the human capacity for forgiveness, remorse and change.

This production will be presented as a fusion of theatre, film and mixed media in an art studio in Brooklyn, creating an installation that lives for the entirety of the production. At certain weeknight performances, special talkbacks will be scheduled with individuals in the fields of law, psychology, and criminal justice.

The cast features Ryan Krause, Terra Mackintosh*, Max Nolen and Denise Poirier* (*member Actors' Equity Association).

Directed by Matt Renskers, with Emma Arlauskas, assistant director; Justin and Christopher Swader, props designers; Abby Wells, lighting designer; Nick Hussong, projection designer; Amy Jo Jackson, dialect coach; Heather Lessard, production stage manager.
