The original play Track Twelve, written and presented by Emily Comisar premieres today as part of the 17th annual New York International Fringe Festival - FringeNYC. This production is directed by Josh Penzell and features a cast of local actors: Leo Goodman, Keelie A. Sheridan, Sarah Sanders, and Charlie Gorrilla. Jay Levy is acting as stage manager and Vanessa Rae Garcia as assistant stage manager.

Track Twelve follows four New Yorkers over the course of an evening snowbound at Penn Station during a major blizzard. The more that time passes, the more old grudges bubble to the surface, challenging old relationships and inspiring new ones. In the end, there is no choice but to accept that the only way to move forward is to let go of the past.

"There is something so New York about this play, it was influenced by my own experiences trapped in subway stations and Amtrak cars, but everyone has a story about something that happened while they were waiting for the train" says Comisar, "which is why I'm thrilled to see the show debut at FringeNYC."

The play will be performed at the recently renovated theatre TEATRO CIRCULO (Venue #11), located at 64 East 4th Street in the East Village. There will be five performances, beginning on today, the 10th of August: SAT 8/10 at 1:45; THU 8/15 at 8:45; SUN 8/18 at 8:45; WED 8/21 at 5; FRI 8/23 at 2.

Tickets are available NOW at http://www.fringenyc.org/basic_page.php?ltr=T#TrackT. Escape the sweltering New York heat this August and join us at FringeNYC for 90 minutes in the snow!
