The Olympus Records Company will present OLYMPUS RECORDS as part of the 18th annual New York International Fringe Festival, a production of The Present Company. OLYMPUS RECORDS marks the New York debut of composer Morgan Clarke and book writer Alex Prather.

OLYMPUS RECORDS asks the question: what if the heroes of Sophocles' tragedies (Ajax, Antigone, Electra, Odysseus, and Philoctetes) were siblings, and in the biggest band of the 90's? And what if that band broke up? Heading towards their tragic fates, sibling rivalry comes to a head as they begin to question the machine that built them. With an original score that sounds like it came out of 1994, OLYMPUS RECORDS explores our morbid fascination with celebrity culture through the lens of Greek tragedy.

The cast will feature Emily Afton (Bway: Hair; Nat'l Tours: Hair, Priscilla...), Samantha Blain (Fringe '09 Muffin Man), Lauren Nicole Davidson, Jason Faust, Jonathan Grunert (Fringe '13 The Bardy Bunch), Scott Raymond Johnson (Fringe '12 Quest for the West: Adventures on the Oregon Trail!), Leah Olsen, Justin Perez (The Dance Cartel's OnTheFloor), Mack Shirilla, and Jacob Thompson (Fringe '13 The 3rd Gender).

Choreographer: Stephanie Simpson (NAACP Award Best Choreography Ragtime) Costume designer: Nikki Bosso. Set designer: Alina Uzlov. Lighting designer: Gustavo Valdes. Stage Manager: Melanie J. Lisby.
