Handel's Messiah Rocks: A Joyful Noise is pleased to announce the casting for its inaugural National Tour, premiering in Orange, Texas on November 7. Handel's Messiah Rocks: A Joyful Noise, the groundbreaking musical event that blends classical music with classic rock and breathes new life into George Fredrick Handel's most performed oratorio will tour the country this holiday season playing cities such as Atlanta, Chicago, Houston and Cleveland. Leading the cast of Handel's Messiah Rocks: A Joyful Noise and performing the role of The Tenor is Broadway veteran Mike Eldred, whose credits include Jean Valjean in LES MISERABLES, Corporal John Beauregard in THE CIVIL WAR and Peter in JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR. Eldred often performs with America's greatest symphony orchestras and recently starred as Tony on the NAXOS INTERNATIONAL recording of the Nashville Symphony's WEST SIDE STORY. Eldred was also featured in the PBS special Dennis DeYoung AND THE MUSIC OF STYX and has released 5 solo recordings, including his Holiday CD, LET IT BEGIN.

The role of The Woman will be performed by Ramona Keller who made her Broadway debut in SMOKEY JOE'S CAFE as the standby for BJ, Pattie and Brenda. She "originated" the roles of Radio 1, in CAROLINE, OR CHANGE and Ms. Paradice, in BROOKLYN The Musical on Broadway. She was also featured in the musical revue IN TIME with Hugh Jackman in Las Vegas.

The role of The Baritone will be performed by SONY recording artist and member of TEATRO, Jeremiah James, who recently released his debut solo album "TUPELO." His other roles include, Billy Bigelow in the West End revival of CAROUSEL, Curly in OKLAHOMA!, and Beast in the national tour of BEAUTY AND THE BEAST.

Handel's Messiah Rocks: A Joyful Noise features stunning visual effects, thrilling songs, an orchestra, rock band, Broadway soloists and specially selected adult and children's choirs from each individual tour city!

Handel's Messiah Rocks: A Joyful Noise was adapted by Jason Howland and libretto adapted by Dani Davis is based on the original oratorio by George Frederick Handel with libretto by Charles Jennens. It is produced by NETworks Presentations, LLC and directed by Dani Davis.
