Elaine Stritch's work in show business, stage and film, dates back decades, and there is no sign that she is slowing down anytime soon. The dynamo 84 year old performer is currently starring as Alec Baldwin's tough-as-nails mother in the comedy series '30 Rock', and starting Tuesday, Stritch can be seen performing in the limited engagement of her one-person show "Elaine Stritch Singin' Sondheim: One Song at a Time," at the Cafe Carlyle.

In a piece by the New York Post, Stritch takes a stroll tour of 'her' New York, listing her favorite haunts for food, shopping, and of course, theatre.

Stricth says the Music Box Theatre located at 239 W. 45th Street, between Seventh and Eight avenue, holds many memories. "The Music Box is one of my favorites because I did ‘Bus Stop' there with the nicest bunch of people I've ever worked with. Everybody in the theater back then, 1955 and ‘56, were class acts. It was a real legit theater and a nice, clean place. They even put fresh curtains up when you checked in. That was the day."
