Coming up this week, 54 BELOW, the new performance venue located just below the legendary Studio 54 at 254 West 54th Street, presents some of Broadway's brightest stars.

Linda Lavin with Billy Stritch, Sept. 17 at 7PM, Sept. 23 at 3PM:
Two performances only…There's a new girl in town this September when Tony and Golden Globe winner Linda Lavin takes to our stage for two very special performances. New York audiences remember her from It's a Bird…It's a Plane…It's Superman, Last of the Red Hot Lovers, Broadway Bound, Collected Stories, The Diary of Anne Frank, Gypsy, The Tale of the Allergist's Wife and others, and the world over knows her as Alice Hyatt in the long-running hit TV series, Alice. A veteran of the cabaret stage, Linda began her career playing such NYC nightspots as The Showplace in Greenwich Village and midtown's Downstairs at the Upstairs. Recently, Linda released her very first CD, Possibilities." Cover charge: $30 - $40. $25 food and beverage minimum.

Eden Espinosa, Sept. 17 at 9:30PM:
Following the success of her debut solo show, ME, which played to thunderous applause in New York and LA, Eden Espinosa, star of Broadway's Wicked, Rent and Brooklyn brings her new show to 54 Below. Cover charge: $25-30. $20 food and beverage minimum.

Patti LuPone, back by popular demand, Sept. 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 at 8:30PM, Sept. 21 & 22 at 11PM:
54 Below is delighted to welcome back Broadway legend, two time Tony Award winner, Patti LuPone. Backed by a five piece orchestra, Ms. LuPone's show will feature a mix of contemporary songs from the world of pop and Broadway and a selection of Paris and Berlin Cabaret Songs from the 30's and 40's. When Patti LuPone opened 54 below back in June, Stephen Holden of The New York Times wrote "Ms. LuPone generates more raw excitement than any other performer on the Broadway and cabaret axis. Her brilliant show, conceived and directed by her longtime collaborator, Scott Wittman, certifies Ms. LuPone's place in the lineage of quirky international chanteuses like Lotte Lenya, Marlene Dietrich and Edith Piaf, who, like Ms. LuPone, conquered show business with forceful, outsize personalities while playing by their own musical rules." Returning to 54 Below for seven performances only, this is the event of the cabaret season you won't want to miss. Cover charge: $85 - $95. $30 food and beverage minimum.
