The ultimate "Singular Sensation," A Chorus Line, will dance its way onto the Civic Center Music Hall stage this summer. Thousands will audition, 24 get to the stage, but in the end only eight will get the opportunity to do what they've always wanted - to have the chance to dance. This is the story of the ones who make it and the ones who don't. Winner of nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Best Musical Score and Best Choreography, this show features the Broadway showstoppers such as "I Hope I Get It," "At the Ballet," "What I Did for Love" and "ONE."

Despite losing the coveted role of 'Cassie' to Charlotte d'Amboise in the 2006 Broadway revival, Natascia Diaz, featured in the Chorus Line documentary Every Little Step, will now have her chance to step into the famed red leotard as she leads the Lyric company.

Speaking about Diaz's casting, Baayork Lee told BroadwayWorld.com that "It is her time now to show everyone she has got what it takes to make Cassie shine on that stage. The hope that Cassie carries with her throughout the show is what Natascia carries with her. She is Cassie. Wishing her all the best for a wonderful time in the role."

The production will also star Robert Montano (Zach), Hui Cha Poos (Connie), Lexi Windsor (Sheila), Matthew Sipress (Larry), Brian J. Marcum (Don), Keri Rene Fuller (Maggie), Christopher Rice (Mike), Christopher Castleberry (Greg), Ryan Fitzgerald (Bobby), Alicia Clark (Bebe), Elyse Collier (Judy), Mickey Junior. Ayre (Richie), James Shackleford (Al), Eloise Kropp (Val), Chelsea Paige (Christine), Chaz Jackson (Mark), Felipe Gonzalez Quillin (Paul), and Sasha Hutchings (Diana).

A Chorus Line feature book by James Kirkwood & Nicholas Dante, music by Marvin Hamlisch, lyrics by Edward Kleban and will be directed and choreographed by David Marquez.  The production will feature music direction by David Andrews Rogers, costume design by Jeffrey Meek, lighting design by Helena Kuukka and sound design by George Ryan

A Chorus Line will play the Civic Center from August 2, 2011 through August 6, 2011. For tickets and more information, visit www.lyrictheatreokc.com/shows/chorus-line.
