EVER AFTER Set For Ordway in Minnesota - Full Season Announced!

The Ordway in St. Paul, MN has announced its upcoming season, which will feature the Broadway-aimed musical Ever After, from December 3-29, 2019.

Ever After had its world premiere at the Paper Mill Playhouse in 2015, and most recently played the Alliance Theatre from January 15 - February 17, 2019. It starred Sierra Boggess. David Garrison, Jeff McCarthy, Tim Rogan, and Rachel York.

Smokey Joe's Cafe
September 10-22, 2019

Smokey Joe's Cafe: The Songs of Leiber and Stoller, the Grammy Award-winning and Tony Award-nominated smash, made history as Broadway's longest running musical revue. The show features 40 of the greatest songs of the past century, including showstopping classics like "On Broadway," "Stand by Me," "Jailhouse Rock," "Hound Dog," "Love Potion No. 9," "Spanish Harlem," "Yakety Yak," and "Charlie Brown."

This refreshing, sizzling-hot, new production of the show, directed and choreographed by Emmy Award winner and Tony Award nominee Joshua Bergasse (Broadway's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and On the Town, Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance" and NBC's "Smash"), will appear in Minnesota for the first time, bringing these sensational rock and roll songs to a new generation.

The New One
October 17-19, 2019

Mike Birbiglia has a new one. It's called The New One.

He's made you laugh in Sleepwalk With Me, My Girlfriend's Boyfriend, and "Thank God for Jokes." He was also really funny in that one season of "Orange Is the New Black." And in "Billions." Ever After

Once On This Island
February 4-9, 2020

Winner of the 2018 Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical, Once On This Island is the sweeping, universal tale of Ti Moune, a fearless peasant girl in search of her place in the world, and ready to risk it all for love. Guided by the mighty island gods, Ti Moune sets out on a remarkable journey to reunite with the man who has captured her heart.

The groundbreaking vision of two-time Tony Award nominated director Michael Arden (Spring Awakening revival) and acclaimed choreographer Camille A. Brown (NBC's Jesus Christ Superstar Live) has a score that bursts with life from Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty.

This touring production, directed by Michael Arden and choreographed by Ordway favorite Camille A. Brown, will play in Minnesota for the first time.

July 21-August 9, 2020

Karma can be a funny thing. So when big-city weatherman Phil Connors gets mysteriously stuck in small-town America, laughter is in the forecast. With his unique look on life, Phil is always ready with a one-liner or clever quip about the all- too cheery people of Punxsutawney. But one extraordinary day is about to show Phil that maybe the joke is really on him.

Based on the iconic film, the musical Groundhog Day features a hilarious book by Danny Rubin and clever songs by Tim Minchin (Matilda).
