E! Officially Suspends Filming of FASHION POLICE Due to Joan Rivers' Hospitalization

USA Today reports that the E! Network has officially suspended filming of their weekly series FASHION POLICE due to the recent hospitalization of the show's star, Joan Rivers.

A statement from the network revealed: "We will not be producing a FASHION POLICE this week or next as we await Joan and Melissa's return in front and behind the camera. E! will be airing two E! From Fashion Week specials that will deliver the latest news and information from the highly-anticipated event."

In his webcast today, E! NEWS correspondent Ken Baker shared, "I spoke to someone who is close to the situation and has been to the hospital," He continued, "She is still in serious condition, however, the source that I spoke to said things are progressing. She is on the road to recovery... this is not some dire, doomsday situation like you may have read."

This week's installment of FASHION POLICE was to be broadcast from New York Fashion Week. BWW will continue to bring you updates on the condition of the legendary commedienne as they emerge.

Joan Rivers brings her notorious and no-holds-barred celebrity fashion and pop culture commentary to E!'s popular franchise "Fashion Police." Joan is joined each week by an outspoken panel of fashionistas, including international "It Girl" Kelly Osbourne, E! and Style Network star Giuliana Rancic and celebrity stylist George Kotsiopoulos. Together this Fab Four of Fashion guide viewers through the week's most high-profile celebrity happenings. Fueled by the most topical and talked about pop culture news, red carpet clips from A-list events and shocking fashion faux pas moments from around the globe, "Fashion Police" is putting tacky celebrity fashion on lockdown.
