Don Barnhart Plays Rivera Comedy Club, 12/2-8

Beginning Dec 2nd - 8th, 2013 Comedian Don Barnhart brings his award-winning stand up comedy show to The Riviera Comedy Club & Casino.

Comedian Don Barnhart Headlines The Rivera Comedy Club in Las Vegas, NV Dec 2nd - 8th. The Las Vegas Review/Journal Newspaper called Don one of their "Best Bets" of 2012 as Barnhart combines clever, well-written material with an improvisational flair that keeps audiences of all demographics howling with laughter and coming back for more.

The award-winning comedian just returned from a world tour with stops in Japan, Okinawa, Italy, Greece, Portugal, Jordan, Spain and Kyrgyzstan and stars in the 2012 documentary Finding The Funny. The film explores the topic of whether or not you can actually teach someone to be funny.

Barnhart is also one of the top comedy coaches and consultants in the country and follows one of Don's comedy classes in Las Vegas and features interviews with Brad Garrett, Louie Anderson, Wendy Liebman and many more famous and not so famous comedians on what it takes to be a successful working comedian.

When asked about touring for the troops Barnhart added, "Comedy is the great equalizer and it brings people together releasing both stress and tension. Serving in the military during times of conflict can be one of the most difficult experiences a person can face so to bring them some laughter and a touch of home can make a huge impact on their morale. We want to entertain them and take their mind off their current situation and let them escape for awhile."

Don is also serves as one of the top comedy consultants in the country and his company Don Barnhart Entertainment is constantly working with up and coming as well as established comedians, comedy clubs and corporations. When Barnhart isn't onstage doing standup, he is also a certified hypnotist with a separate comedy hypnosis show.

Featuring for Barnhart is longtime comedy pal Derek Richards who also tours overseas for the troops with Don. Derek's act is fast, fresh, and at times, fanatical. He brings the funny with tales about his blue-collar upbringing, his mom's dog, the holidays and dating an exotic dancer.
