Dizzy Feet Foundation Awards Students at Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club in New York City

Catherine Hurlin, Shu Kinochi and Alison Stroming have been selected as scholarship recipients for the 2010-2011 season by the Dizzy Feet Foundation.

Ms. Hurlin will receive the Foundation's first scholarship for young dancers of exceptional promise by the Angelina Ballerina Stars of Tomorrow program (AB Stars) and the Dizzy Feet Foundation. The awards will be presented by Dizzy Feet founder Nigel Lythgoe and Angelina BallerinaTM on Thursday, November 18, at 4:30 P.M. at the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club in New York City.

The award ceremony, presented by Angelina Ballerina Stars of Tomorrow Program and the Dizzy Feet Foundation, will include a performance by students from the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School at American Ballet Theatre. The ceremony will also include the unveiling of a new public service announcement campaign starring Angelina BallerinaTM and founding members of Dizzy Feet.

The Dizzy Feet Foundation was founded in 2009 by Nigel Lythgoe, Co-Creator and Executive Producer of television's So You Think You Can Dance, director Adam Shankman, Carrie Ann Inaba of Dancing With the Stars and actress Katie Holmes.

The foundation's goal is to support, improve and increase access to dance education in the United States.

The Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School at American Ballet Theatre, established in January 2004, is a pre-professional classical ballet program currently training students at the Company's 890 Broadway rehearsal studios. Under the direction of

Franco DeVita, Principal, the faculty of the JKO School includes members of ABT's Artistic Staff, ABT alumni and other prominent teachers.
