Tuesday, August 29th will mark the debut of Coffee House: "The Originals," featuring new compositions from emerging New York composers and lyricists.  Presented by The Daryl Roth Theatre, the new musical series takes places atThe D-Lounge, the cabaret entity of the Daryl Roth theatre complex.

"The Originals" will features: Lisa Asher, Nick Cearley, Mychelle Colleary, Brandon Cutrell, Baby Jane Dexter, Mark Kessler, Karen Mack, Kate Pazakis, Julie Reyburn, Marcus Simeone and others.  Ray Fellman will provide musical direction.

"A new series at the D-Lounge, Coffee House presents a variety of casual evenings with different themes, featuring casts of eclectic artists," according to press notes.  "The Standards," presented earlier this month, featured a collection of music from the Great American Songbook – including Gershwin, Porter, Kern, Berlin, Rogers and Hammerstein, etc.
