PRiMA Theatre is pleased to welcome guest artist Adam Pascal to Lancaster for a solo concert. Pascal is known as Broadway's most famous rock tenor, and the talent behind leading Broadway roles in Rent, Aida, Memphis, Cabaret, Chicago and Chess.

Most recently on Broadway in the new musical Disaster!, Pascal will join the cast of the Tony-nominated musical comedy Something Rotten! as the new William Shakespeare beginning November 7 at the St. James Theatre in New York City.

With this role, Pascal's availability has changed. The concert in Lancaster is being moved from Saturday, December 3, to Monday, December 5, at 7pm.

With the schedule change, the originally scheduled master class has been cancelled.

"We're excited for Adam as he takes on this new opportunity on Broadway" says Mitch Nugent, Executive Producer of PRiMA Theatre. "These circumstances are out of our control, and I'm sorry for the inconvenience this may cause some ticket holders, but we're pumped that he is still coming and what that says about the continued growth of cultural vitality in Lancaster."

In 1996, Adam landed the role of Roger Davis in the original cast of Rent, for which he won a Drama League and Obie award. Since then he has reprised the role around the world, as well as performed in many Broadway and West End productions (Radames inAida, Freddie in Chess, Huey Calhoun in Memphis, Billy Flynn in Chicago). In addition to his theatre credits, Pascal has toured internationally, as well as recorded numerous solo albums.

Masterclass ticket holders are encouraged to use their ticket as a credit for a standard ticket within the 2017 season, providing the patron provides a one-week notice before the performance of choice to boxoffice@primatheatre.org, and that tickets are available for the date of choice.

Concert tickets already purchased will automatically be activated for the new date. Those with schedule concerns can contact the box-office at 717.327.5124 orboxoffice@primatheatre.org for further communications. Tickets can be exchanged for a performance in the 2017 season.

Refunds for the master class or concert tickets are also available by email (boxoffice@primatheatre.org) as necessary.

"Lancaster is a kind community and I expect friends of our organization will rally to be there on a Monday evening." Nugent said. "No doubt the experience will be worth it!"
