The night is here- we're about to find out which 3 teams will compete in the finals! While the judges have ranked Chad and Cheryl in the bottom after last night's routines, it's ultimately up to America to decide who packs their bags tonight.

Evan and Anna found out right away that they had earned a spot in the finals. It was then time for a recap by Len. He made a good point, saying that in any other season, Chad would be a shoe in for the finals. However, with the high caliber of Erin, Evan, and Nicole- he's had his work cut out for him.

This week's judge-chosen encore routine was Evan's macho Paso Doble with partner Anna. Already knowing that he was safe must have helped Evan be even more amazing than usual.

Tonight, the show featured videos about the lives of the professional dancers, and the first one up was Ukrainian born Maks. Poor Maks was beaten up and had his rollerblades stolen his second day in America! His response? "Thanks guys, for the warm welcome."

Tonight's guest performer was Sarah McLachlan singing "In the Arms of The Angels" and "Loving You is Easy" from her latest album. Her voice is so distinct and relaxing, and her performance made me want to go out and buy her CD.

Next we had a look at the early years of Cheryl, who was so quiet that her mother actually thought she was deaf! She began ballet at a young age as a way to express herself, and later switched over to ballroom dancing.

Tonight's "Macy's Stars of Dance" performance was by Joey Fatone and Melissa Rycroft who danced to the fan chosen song "Rock & Roll All Night." The routine was complete with a scary mask sported by Joey as well as fire.

The "College Dance Championship" competitors this week were Rutgers and Utah Valley University. Rutgers was the first to perform, and I'd just like to point out that their warm up jackets are the same jackets I got for my field hockey team in 9th grade.

The Rutgers team was alright, but their music put me to sleep...and then when the random voice started talking about a knife, it just got weird. Len enjoyed the pattern changes, but said that there were one or two moments where things didn't go quite right. Carrie Ann and Bruno agreed that for a new team, they were off to a great start. All three judges gave the Rutgers team 7s.

Utah Valley University was next to perform, and they sounded much more legit than Rutgers newly formed team. They were so awesome to watch, and all of them were extremely talented. The routine was upbeat, exciting, and it appeared to my un-professional eyes to be really challenging.

The judges loved it as well, Bruno called it sharp, precise, and said that they had incredible technique. Carrie-Ann thought everything was spot on while Len said it was very accomplished with a high degree of difficulty (I was right!) The judges gave the routine to 10s and a 9 (From, guess who? Len.)

The video about Anna was very informative- I for one never knew she was married! I know, I know- that's old news- I don't get out much.

I'm not going to lie...I'm excited for Miley's first TV performance of "Can't Be Tamed." Will she have her wings on?! Ah shucks, no wings...but there was a cage which is always good. While I will admit that Miley's vocal abilities are mediocre if not non-existent, I can't help but be fascinated by her, and I certainly cannot help singing along to her song.

Derek's childhood pictures were so adorable, especially the one of him swimming in a mud puddle. Interesting fact- to make Derek obedient, take his hair gel away.

After the video, the next couple to secure a place in the finals was none other than Derek and Nicole, yay!

And now, the moment of truth. Who would be the 100th couple in Dancing with the Stars history to be voted off? The Answer: Chad and Cheryl. I will miss Chad, his desperate attempts to win Cheryl over and all.

The final 3 teams showcase their fancy footwork on Mondays, at 8:00-10:00 PM. The couple with the lowest combined judges' scores and public votes for both performances will be sent home.

Viewers may cast their votes for their favorite teams via phone on Monday night during and up to 30 minutes after the "Dancing with the Stars" performance shows. AT&T customers may also text message their votes by texting the word "VOTE" and entering the number that corresponds to the team they want to support (message and data rates may apply). Viewers may also vote online at www.abc.com starting from the opening of each episode on the East Coast and until 12:00 Noon, ET the following day.

Hosted by Tom Bergeron ("America's Funniest Home Videos"), the celebrities perform choreographed dance routines which will be judged by renowned Ballroom judge Len Goodman and dancer/choreographers Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba, who all return for their tenth season together.
