Originally a one-night event, DRESS OF FIRE now has three opportunities for viewing, this week, June 28, 29, and 30 at 8:00 p.m. at the Dorothy Strelson Theater within the Abingdon Complex at 312 West 36th Street, NYC.

Word of mouth, coupled with Mr. Pendleton's own excitement, has necessitated two additional showings. This fast-moving theater piece delves into the psyches of the major players of the Trojan War while delivering a subtle subtext regarding our own crumbling society.

In these days of surreal politics -- when candidates fancy themselves emperors above the law -- Ms Kethevan's witty and pointed dialogue reads like a secret government transcript - one that would be named "Twilight of Empire." Ioan Ardelean serves as director with Oliver Conant assisting.

The cast features Kaylin Lee Clinton as Hecuba; Alice Kremelberg as Cassandra; Elena Rusconi as Helen and Austin Pendleton as King Priam. They are joined by Perri Yaniv, James Edward Becton, Scott Barraza, Rob Hinds, Bryan Marshall, and Hillary Rader.
