On January 16, 2017, a powerful group of women came together at New York City's Highline Ballroom to lend their voices to a sold-out production of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's Jesus Christ Superstar. The stunning show left the audience abuzz with enough excitement to lead to a studio album.

Recording is set to begin in the spring with many of the original cast members returning to reprise their roles. Broadway alum Shoshana Bean will give voice once more to Judas Iscariot alongside Morgan James in her role as Jesus Christ. Orfeh, Ann Harada, and Debbie Gravitte have also signed on for the star-studded studio recording, along with Ellyn Marie Marsh, Jasmin Walker, Bryonha Marie Parham, Isabel Santiago, Tamika Sonja Lawrence, Edin Espinosa, and Pearl Sun.

As the leader in direct-to-fan platforms, PledgeMusic enables the artists to give their fans exclusive access that includes not only the album and other assorted goodies, but one-on-one interaction with the cast members themselves.

A $15 donation secures a digital download of the double studio album, as well as exclusive behind-the-scenes content and updates. The tiered donation levels offer fans access to much more than the album itself, however. Fans can also donate to secure T-shirts, autographed albums and books, dinner with the cast, and even the chance to be listed as one of the producers on the album's liner notes.
