Negin Farsad and Amy Albert present the brand new weekly standup show, Comedy School Dropout. In the grand tradition of East Village ‘alternative' rooms, Comedy School Dropout brings top-notch standup comics, the occasional comedy musical act, subversive duo, or extremely talented threesome, to the stage for the cut-rate price of zero dollars!

Comedy School Dropout comedians have been featured on MTV, Comedy Central, IFC, Showtime and most other known network channels. March 30th is the first ever show and it is going to have not one but two black comics and not one but THREE be-vagina'd comics!

The March 30 Lineup
Damien Lemon: When he's not touring nationally, he's on the Radio City stage opening for Aretha Franklin. He can also make a very mean mojito.
Seaton Smith: Seaton was on New Faces at Montreal, has toured with the Opie & Anthony show, and taught himself to knit at a very young age.
John F. O'Donnell: He was one of Comedy Central's up-and-comers and now he's releasing his new album "Live from Outerspace" because, oh yeah, he's part alien.
Katie Halper: When The Nation wanted a resident comic for their annual cruise, they called Halper, hitherto referred to as Maritime Comic of the Seas.
Hosted by Negin Farsad & Amy Albert!

Hosts/curators/grand poobahs, Negin Farsad and Amy Albert are bringing their none-too-shabby experience to the Beauty Bar stage. Farsad, an Iranian-American comic, was recently named one of the Top 50 Female Comedians by Huffington Post and has written for and performed on an MTV and a Comedy Central series, a PBS animated series, an IFC newsy show, and umpteen web projects. She is also director of the recent feature film release Nerdcore Rising which premiered at SXSW, winning various awards for best film and best director. Her work has been called "hilarious" by Salon, the Austin Chronicle, the Wall Street Journal and a lot of other publications who chose to use the same adjective. Amy Albert recently wowed the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with her show "Delilah Dix and her Bag of Trix" garnering multiple four and 5 star reviews. She has performed with Second City in LA,. The LAFF Festival in Austin, and Ars Nova in NY. She's currently wowing Off-Broadway audiences at the Laurie Beechman Theatre in "Delilah Dix: Showin' My Business."
