The second leg of the Bo Burnham Live - "what." Tour continues this fall with a stop today, October 21 at PlayhouseSquare's Ohio Theatre for one 8 pm performance.

"What." is Burnham's first new stand-up show since "words, words, words"-- the show that made him the youngest person ever to record a Comedy Central hour special at 19 years old. This new show combines music, stand-up and theater in a way that hasn't been seen before. (During this tour's stop in San Francisco, Bo will also be filming his next special.)

"This new show is something I've been working on for the last two and half years," says Burnham. "And now it's finally done. It better be good."

Fall 2013 also finds Bo bringing his award-winning brand of brainy word play to the page in the form of off-kilter writings, thoughts and poems withEGGHEAD: Or, You Can't Survive on Ideas Alone (October 1, 2013; Grand Central Publishing; ISBN: 9781455519149; $22.00). Collaborating with longtime friend, artist and illustrator Chance Bone, Bo writes about everything from painful breakups to bald barbers, and, like his stand-up, displays surprisingly mature insights, utter originality and intelligence.

"You have to be brave to be this hilarious and this sweetly romantic. And, of course, a lot of talent helps. 'Egghead' is a remarkable piece of writing!" says Jack Handey, author of The Stench of Honolulu and the Deep Thoughts series.
