Cockpit In Court Announces Summer Theatre Opening Cockpit In Court Summer Theatre kicks off its eight weeks of live summer entertainment. The month of June includes the broadway shows Avenue Q & Laughter on the 23rd Floor. July will include Disney's The Little Mermaid & Come Back to the Five and Dime Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean, with a special children's theatre presentation of Disney's The Lion King, Jr. JUNE 15 through July 1st

Avenue Q is a Tony winning musical filled with gut-busting humor and a delightfully catchy score, not to mention puppets. It is a truly unique show that has quickly become a favorite for audiences everywhere. Although the show addresses humorous adult issues, it is similar to a beloved children's show; a place where puppets are friends, Monsters are good and life lessons are learned. Tickets range from $14 to $22, this show is not recommended for children.

Laughter on the 23rd Floor by Neil Simon, was inspired by his youthful experience as a staff writer on Sid Caesar's Your Show of Shows, with all the attendant comic drama as the harried writing staff frantically scrambles to top each other with gags while competing for the attention of star madman "Max Prince". Tickets range from $15 to $17, this show is not recommended for children.

Show times are 8 p.m. Friday, Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday, in the Romadka College Center at CCBC Essex 7201 Rossville Boulevard. For tickets and information, call 443-840-2787. Patrons requiring special accommodations are urged to notify the Box Office at least two weeks in advance. CCBC Box Office hours are 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, or visit www.ccbcmd.edu/cockpit.
