Auditions for Civic Theatre of Allentown's 2010 production of A Christmas Carol will be held on October 2nd and 18th in the rehearsAl Hall at Civic's 19th Street Theatre.

Auditions will be held as follows:

For children ages 5-9: Saturday, October 2nd at 1:30pm
For children ages 10 and up*: Saturday, October 2nd at 4pm
For adults: Monday, October 18th at 7pm

*Any teenager that wishes to audition for the role of an adult should attend the adult audition on the 18th instead of the 2nd.

Both adults and children will be asked to do a cold reading from the script of A Christmas Carol. Children will also be asked to sing a Christmas song. Everyone auditioning should bring a headshot to the audition. The headshots do not have to be professionally-taken.

The 2010 production of A Christmas Carol will be directed by Civic Artistic Director William Sanders, who adapted the script from Charles Dickens' novel along with Sharon Lee Glassman.

A Christmas Carol will run from December 3rd through the 18th, with student matinees on the 7th, 8th, 14th and 15th.
