New York City Center has announced its complete 2010-2011 season, Danza Ballet reports.

The season will open with the Fall For Dance Festival, which will run from September 28 to October 9. New York City Center's seventh annual Fall for Dance Festival will showcase 20 national and international companies and choreographers. With ticket prices remaining at $10 for all seats, a night of dance is more affordable than a night at the movies. The festival will include world and U.S. premieres, and will feature several companies making their first U.S. appearances. A wide range of dance styles and traditions, ranging from contemporary dance and classical ballet to Odissi, tap and hip hop, will be represented in five programs. (Each program will be repeated once.) Tickets will go on sale Sunday, September 12 at 11 a.m.

Next up will be Matthew Bourne's SWAN LAKE, which will run from October 13 to November 7. This triumphant modern re-interpretation of the legendary ballet turned tradition upside down and took both the theater and dance worlds by storm when it arrived on Broadway in 1998 and went on to win three Tony Awards® and five Drama Desk Awards.  Tickets are on sale now.

On November 8, Rolex will present Career Transition for Dancers. Hosted by Angela Lansbury, the five-time Tony Award-winning actress and legendary star of musicals, films and television, the spectacular evening will highlight magical moments from past glittering galas. Joining the celebration are Tony Award Winners Bebe Neuwirth, Ann Reinking, Chita Rivera, Tommy Tune, and Karen Ziemba. Featuring artists from some of America's greatest dance companies along with show-stopping Broadway numbers and more stars, this once-in-a-lifetime event is not-to-be-missed! Honoring a quarter century of support, Career Transition For Dancers connects dancers to their future, and embraces the unique legacy of dance and dancers that enriches the human condition. It is produced and directed by Ann Marie DeAngelo.  Tickets are on sale now.

Other events of the season will include the newly announced 'Flamenco Hoy,' a popular Flamenco show from Spain, which will run from February 16 to February 20.  Tickets will go on sale September 7. The season will also feature performances by the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, the Paul Taylor Dance Company, the Manhattan Theatre Club, and the Pearl Theatre Company, as well as Encores! productions of BELLS ARE RINGING, LOST IN THE STARS, and WHERE'S CHARLEY?
