Christopher Sieber, who originated the role of the vainglorious but stunningly coiffed Sir Galahad in the Tony Award winning Best Musical Monty Python's Spamalot, dons his boots and tunic as he returns to the Broadway production at the Shubert Theatre, tomorrow night Tuesday May 1.  Sieber received a Tony Award nomination for his performance and went on to originate the role in the London production.

Sieber's Broadway credits include Chicago, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Into The Woods, Beauty & The Beast, Triumph of Love, and A Christmas Carol. Also, he has been seen in the New York City Opera production of Cinderella. Off-Broadway credits include Avow, The Boys in the Band, and Pal Joey. Regional work includes: Randy Newman's Faust, Paper Moon at Paper Mill, Company, and The Boys From Syracuse at Reprise!. TV credits include "It's All Relative," "Two of a Kind," "Sex & The City," "Ed," "Guiding Light," "All My Children," and "Another World."

Monty Python's Spamalot, the Tony Award-winning Best Musical continues to proliferate throughout the world.  No other show featuring a killer rabbit, a limbless knight, and a very well-hidden cup can make this claim. Spamalot features a book and lyrics by Eric Idle, music by John Du Prez and Eric Idle, direction by Mike Nichols, choreography by Casey Nicholaw and is based on the screenplay of Monty Python and the Holy Grail by Monty Python creators Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin, with an entirely new score with two songs from the 1975 film and the Python classic "Always Look On The Bright Side of Life" from 1979's The Life of Brian.

In addition to the myriad legitimate theatrical awards - including the 2005 Tony for Best Musical - with which Spamalot has been honored, it also holds The Guinness World Record for "World's Largest Coconut Orchestra" which was first set on March 23, 2006 when 1,789 fans gathered in Shubert Alley to commemorate Spamalot's first anniversary on Broadway.  That record was demolished last week in  London when 5,567 people gathered in London's historic Trafalgar Square to render New York's record a memory.
