This week's episode of SMASH is stacked to the gills with major musical moments and yet another taste of the feast to come has been released byway of Tony Award-winner Christian Borle and his sensational cover of Billy Joel's "Vienna".

"Slow down you crazy child / You're so ambitious for a juvenile," sings Borle (as Tom) in the winning take on the memorable Joel tune. The lyrics seem particularly applicable to the plight of the songwriting team comprised of Jimmy (Jeremy Jordan) and Kyle (Andy Mientus) in the series, especially of late.

Furthermore, what exactly does this song say about Kyle's fate, particularly given that it is being sung by his newfound lover?

The cryptic official synopsis of "The Phenomenon" episode is as follows: "An unexpected event bonds both BOMBSHELL and HIT LIST." Kyle's death, perhaps? Say it isn't so! Although, maybe we've been misled!

SMASH airs Saturdays at 8 PM on NBC. Be sure to tune in to find out the context of this superb song, which joins a Radiohead cover, a new HIT LIST tune penned by Marc Shaiman & Scott Wittman as well as a BOMBSHELL musical number with recurring guest star Bernadette Peters!
