Chabuco's First U.S. Promotional Tour For His New Album Concludes With An Unforgettable Performance In New York Colombian singer and composer, Chabuco, successfully ended his first promotional tour in the United States with an amazing performance of selected songs from his new album "Encuentro" at the renowned Groove Club in Greenwich Village, NYC this past Friday, August 17th. This is the first show that Chabuco has successful done abroad giving audiences an exciting taste of his new album.

After a successful national publicity tour in Colombia, this month of August the singer had the opportunity to travel to Miami and then New York City, to promote his new Latin Jazz album and debut his first music video from the album "Amor Sensible" to the media. "Encuentro", which has had excellent reviews and audience reception in the artist's native country, has already given much to talk about in other countries such as Mexico and the United States for its original mix of the traditional Vallenato and Bossa Nova rhythms.

Chabuco performed last Friday, August 17th, before an energetic sold out audience. Some of the songs he performed during this presentation included "Cantor de Fonseca", "Amor Sensible", "Mi Samba", "Besito de Agua", "Margarita", among others.

"Encuentro" is Chabuco's fifth album and his first under the Sony Music label. It is available on all digital platforms. "Encuentro" fuses the sounds of the Colombian Caribbean coast, with jazz and bossa nova, creating a beautiful Latin Jazz sound. The album was recorded in Sao Paulo, Brazil and produced by Swami Jr. (Omara Portuondo, Chico César) and includes collaborations with the Spaniard Alejandro Sanz, the Dominican Vicente García and the famous Brazilian pianist Zé Godoy.

Chabuco, son of the legendary guitarist Hugues Martínez, entered the music world as a member of the group "Los Pelaos" (1998-2000). In addition to his most recent album "Encuentro", his solo career includes the albums, "Morirme de Amor", "Nació Mi Poesía" (collaboration with Nicolás de los Ríos), "Clásicos Café La Bolsa" and "De Ida y Vuelta", which sold more than half a million copies via newspaper El Tiempo, something never achieved before by any other artist in Colombia. Chabuco has performed in some of the most important venues in the world such as the Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico, the Sala Berlanga in Madrid and the House of Blues in Stockholm. He has also collaborated with renowned International Artists including Alejandro Sanz, Juanes, Fonseca, Rosana, The Carmona Brothers, Magos & Limón, Daniel Baute, Sole Giménez, Diego El Cigala, Mojito Lite and Rosario Flores among many others.
