Canal Park Playhouse is thrilled to announce the return of HOUSE OF GHOSTLY HAUNTS, the weekly Spook Show created and performed by Cardone the Vaudeville Magician. HOUSE OF GHOSTLY HAUNTS will return on Tuesday, January 22 for an open ended run. Performances take place at Canal Park Playhouse (508 Canal Street, between Greenwich and West Streets in Tribeca). The performance schedule is Tuesdays at 7 PM. The regular ticket price is $20. For tickets or more information, call OvationTix on 1-866-811-4111 or visit www.canalparkplayhouse.com.

The haunting of Canal Park Playhouse continues on January 22, when HOUSE OF GHOSTLY HAUNTS, Cardone's vintage vaudeville spook show, rises from its watery grave! Spellbinding illusions, including razor blade swallowing, guillotine dropping and the spook-tastic Time Machine of Death, are just some of the frightening feats performed by Cardone. Commune with the spirit of Elvis and witness a spectacular haunting at this weekly celebration of the strange, the macabre and the fantastical!

90% of the illusions in HOUSE OF GHOSTLY HAUNTS, including the Time Machine of Death (made by Bud West, the go-to illusion creator from the original spook shows), were underwater when Canal Park Playhouse was flooded during Hurricane Sandy. Over the last several months, Cardone has refurbished (and in some cases, completely recreated) the damaged illusions so the show can indeed go on!

Called "unnerving, intriguing and fun" (www.womanaroundtown.com), this intergenerational Spook Show is perfect for adults and "children old enough to appreciate a few chills along with their chuckles" (NY Times). No one under age 7 is permitted. The show ends in 10 minutes of complete darkness.

A pre-or-post show dinner is available at Canal Park Playhouse's Waffle Iron Café. The dinner menu includes waffle iron-prepared gourmet sliders, entrée salads as well as hot-off-the-waffle-iron omelets and waffles (including the house specialty waffles, The Playhouse Pink Waffle and Decadent Dark Chocolate Waffle). The diabolically delicious Zombie Waffle, created specifically for the Spook Show, is topped with "brains." The perfect treat pre or post scarefest!
