CRT adds Sunday Evening Performance of See How They Run 7/2
By: Gabrielle Sierra
Due to the Cortland County fireworks display planned for Saturday, July 3rd in Dwyer Memorial Park, Cortland Repertory Theatre will be ending their two week run of the farce "See How They Run" on Friday, July 2nd. Consequently, they have added a performance on Sunday evening, June 27th at 7:30. A matinee at 2:00 is planned for that Sunday as well.
Directed by CRT's Producing Artistic Director Kerby Thompson, "See How They Run" takes place in the vicarage of the sleepy village of Merton-cum-Middlewick where a new addition to the community - a former American actress and the new wife of the local vicar - riles the local community by wearing pants in public. Through a series of mistaken identities and unexpected arrivals of visiting vicars, an escaped Russian prisoner, and a tipsy church prude, the vicarage is thrown into hilarious confusion. Performances ‘run' from June 23rd - July 2nd with evening performances at 7:30. Matinees are available on June 25th, 27th and 30th at 2:00 PM. Tickets may be purchase by calling 800-427-6160 or at the CRT Box Office at 37 Franklin Street in Cortland. Tickets are also available for sale 24 hours a day through the CRT website at www.cortlandrep.org.
