From the ocean side city of Cape Town in South Africa, Civil Twilight has been playing together since teenagers. With influences such as Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Thom Yorke and Leonard Cohen, these guys created a sound of atmospheric sound and hazy storytelling that transports you to another place.

Civil Twilight has experienced America for all it has to offer. Their first album was recorded in South Carolina, and shortly after they moved to Nashville for their second debut. Their transition into the United States has translated their outsider status into a convincing voice of lyrics.

With Steven Mckeller’s eerie yet attractive vocals, his brother Andrew complimenting on guitar, and Richard Wouters on Drums, Civil Twilight is haunting yet southing at the same time. In 2009 they received their first notoriety with their self-titled album release featuring the song “Letters From the Sky” which has recently been featured on television shows.

Joining these South African indie rockers are Carousel from Bucks County, PA. Carousel was born of time-tested relationships as dynamic and changing as a ride on a merry-go-round. The sound of Carousel is a perfect blend of rawness and sophistication.
