Wheatus' debut single "Teenage Dirtbag" cracked the Top 40 BBC Official Sales Chart for a second time in March of 2011, TEN YEARS after its debut at #2 on the same chart. To say that Wheatus have been through the wringer in the decade between is the original understatement. Lawsuits, lineup changes, interstate art heist investigations (yes, really), betrayals, intellectual property theft, physical violence--post-traumatic front man Brendan B. Brown could write a book. To date, their first record has sold more than 5 million copies world wide. Any manager or record label would be happy to tout those stats to the press but Wheatus have remained unsigned & unmanaged for the last 8 years. Unlike many of their peers from the early oughts, wheatus continue to write, record, and tour 15 years after their inception, having taken control of their revenue stream with the home made, "pick-your-price" download system fans can use at wheatus.com. They have released 5 Studio albums since 2000 and are currently in preproduction for album 6.

MC Frontalot is the stage name of Damian Hess, a hip hop musician and self-proclaimed “world’s 579th-greatest rapper.” Many of his songs deal with things nerdy in nature, which has led him to be categorized as nerdcore, a word he himself coined in his first single, “Nerdcore Hip Hop”. Jetblack Bullseye is an American rock band formed in Brooklyn, NY in the summer of 2010. Their debut album, Jetblack Bullseye (2012) was recorded live in their practice space in Greenpoint, BK. Started by a sixteen year old kid who was kicked out of his high school pop-punk band, Math the Band has been going strong for 5 years, playing well over 500 shows throughout the US, Mexico and Canada, with bands such as Andrew WK, Matt and Kim, Polysics and Bob Doland. Schaffer the Darklord (or STD) is a New York City-based rapper and comedian with subversive material best-suited for brainy and/or decadent audiences.

After the demise of underground legends DEAD MOON in fall 2006, nobody was surprised to hear that founders Fred and Toody Cole had lost little time in starting a new band. They recruited drummer Kelly Halliburton in April 2007, and soon the PIERCED ARROWS were up and running, playing live shows in the Northwest and recording songs for upcoming releases. PIERCED ARROWS picks up, musically, where DEAD MOON left off - a lo-fi assault on the senses played with the sincerity and feeling that made DM such a special band for all of their fans around the world. Stay tuned to this site for information about upcoming shows, releases, and tours.

Columbus, Ohio power-blues trio Mount Carmel have produced another nugget of early-70s rock for your listening enjoyment, and its name is Real Women. Out now on Siltbreeze, the album by the difficult-to-Google group is a straightforward collection of tunes that sound like they could have been put to record four decades ago.

Some say that Light.Sweet.Crude emerged from the electric goo that runs beneath Manhattan’s sewer system. Some say that they appeared, naked as nature, in the shadow of a solar eclipse. Were they sent as a ritual sacrifice from the god-forsaken future? I am Isis has been described as haunting and mesmerizing, with her live shows being characterized as an energetic explosion of power and grace. Drawing from an array of influences including blues, bluegrass, neo-traditional and classic country and punk rock, The Mallett Brothers Band are known for high-intensity live performances, which include appearances at national festivals as well as sold-out venues ranging from grange halls to rock clubs throughout the Northeast U.S. As a 19 year old musician and singer/songwriter, Jenny Founds has already established herself as a force to be reckoned with after years of touring with renowned musicians such as members from Yes, Frank Zappa & the Mothers and Guns & Roses.

Mark Sultan, also known as BBQ, has been a well-respected fixture on the garage rock ‘n’ roll scene for a some years, most recently for his role in ‘The King Khan & BBQ Show’, releasing records on labels like Bomp!, Fat Possum, Crypt and Norton. Known for hit songwriting (covered by acts like Atlas Sound) and an incredible voice (comparisons to Sam Cooke and Gerry Roslie abound), his most recent project is the eponymous ‘Mark Sultan’ is a further taste of what he is known for pioneering (fusing doo-wop, garage and punk) but also an exploration of psychedlic, pop, country and noise.

Habibi is the brainchild of Rahill Jamalifard and Lenny Lynch, the two Detroit natives who started the all-girl, Brooklyn-based project in the spring of 2011. Growing up with the harmonious sounds of Motown and the punk attitudes of Quatro and Iggy, their music invokes the same simplicity and fiery spirit. With their malt of surf rock and bubblegum dance hooks, narratives and noise, Des Roar manage to incorporate Brooklyn’s electro leanings into the vibrations of a West Coast garage band, keeping it raw and playing seamless.
