Broadway by Boat: Cast Members from CHICAGO to Close Hornblower's Broadway Cruises 2018 Season

The newest way to take in the sights, skyline and sounds of New York Harbor is with Hornblower New York's Broadway Cruises, dinner cruises featuring live performances of Broadway's classic, timeless songs. Ending the 2018 season on a high note, Hornblower is partnering with the iconic Broadway production CHICAGO to offer live performances from the cast members who play CHICAGO's Mama Morton, on its final three Broadway Cruises dates for the season on October 19, 21 and 28, all at 7:00 PM.

The role of Mama Morton is performed by Donna Marie Asbury (October 19) and Naomi Walley (October 21 and 28). Following their performance, CHICAGO's Mama Morton will meet and greet passengers on board and sign autographs. CHICAGO tells the story of two rival murderesses who turn their incarceration into an overnight showbiz sensation with the help of their lawyer and of course, Prison Matron Mama Morton.

"It's my pleasure to bring a piece of CHICAGO on Broadway magic to the elite Hornblower experience... and all that jazz," said Naomi Walley, who plays Mama Morton in CHICAGO.

"I'm so excited to bring a little bit of CHICAGO to the cruise! Hope everyone will join me," said Donna Marie Asbury who will portray Mama Morton on October 19.

Hornblower's Broadway Cruises began earlier this summer as a way to bring the harmonies of Broadway to the harmony of the Harbor. In addition to live musical performances, Broadway Cruises also include a pre-fixe four-course dinner, a cruise around the city, dancing and plenty of social media moments under the Brooklyn Bridge, near the Statue of Liberty and much more.

Donna Marie made her Broadway debut at age 11 and has appeared in a host of Broadway favorites, including Jerome Robbins' Broadway, Smile, Merrily We Roll Along, Gypsy, Evita and more. Naomi is a multi-talented performer and CHICAGO marks her Broadway debut.
