Voices From The Aisles, a cabaret show that puts Broadway's finest ushers on stage and inside the Playbill, will be presented on Monday, November 4th at 9:30 pm at Stage 72 (formerly The Triad).

When a patron enters a Broadway theatre, they are greeted by ushers - customer service professionals who may scan a patrons' ticket, hand them a Playbill or show them to their seat. What the patron doesn't know is that they may be passing by the future of Broadway.

At Foxwoods Theatre, home of SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark, that is exactly the case. The multi-talented team of Front of House staff at Foxwoods Theatre are made up of actors and actresses pounding the New York City pavement by day and ushering at the largest theatre on Broadway by night.

For one night, this team of ambitious Spidey seaters will take over the stage and present Voices From The Aisles. In keeping with the theme, the spotlight will be shifting in true fashion. The evening's ushers will be none other than Broadway's current stars!

The event will take place at the recently renovated theatre, Stage 72 (formerly The Triad) on Monday, November 4th at 9:30pm. Tickets are $12 (plus a 2-drink minimum). Proceeds from the event, including a raffle, will benefit The League of Independent Theater's The LIT Fund, which is designed to financially assist artists creating independent theatre in the five boroughs of New York City.

The event is being sponsored by Ambassador Theatre Group, Scott Rosenberg and Paris Productions.

SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark features music and lyrics by 22-time Grammy Award-winners Bono and The Edge and a book co-written by Julie Taymor, Glen Berger and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, with direction by Ms. Taymor and additional direction by Philip William McKinley. Scenic Designer George Tsypin and Costume Designer Eiko Ishioka are winners of Outer Critics Circle Awards and were nominated for Tony Awards for their work on SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark.

The world's most recognizable Super Hero leaps off the comic book pages and onto the Broadway stage in SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark. Peter Parker's ordinary teenage life takes a turn for the extraordinary when he's bitten by a genetically altered spider and suddenly finds himself endowed with incredible superpowers. Parker quickly learns that with great power comes great responsibility as he tries to juggle the demands of high school and home life, while battling the Green Goblin and his band of super villains as they try to take down New York City and destroy everything Peter holds dear - including the beautiful girl-next-door, Mary Jane Watson. This high-flying groundbreaking and history-making production brings this story - inspired by more than fifty years of Marvel comic books - thrillingly to life!
