Broadway Blog - Kelsey Grammer: A Class Act

One of the nicest (out of many great) calls that BroadwayWorld.com fielded today with newly minted Tony nominees was with the wonderfully talented Kelsey Grammer, currently treading the boards in La Cage aux Folles.

Aside from being very gracious on the phone, he's just posted the following message to his Twitter feed: "Thanks to all for your good wishes on the Tony Nom. I am thrilled and grateful to the theater community for their support. Doug will win."

If I was a betting man (which I am), I say that he's most likely correct with his prediction... I also say that Broadway should do its best to keep Kelsey treading the boards for as long as we can.
