And a Happy Birthday shout-out to Frances McDormand, who turns 59 today!

Frances McDormand won the 2011 Tony and Drama Desk Awards for Best Actress in a Play for GOOD PEOPLE. She was also nominated for a Tony for her performance in 1988's A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE. Her other Broadway credits include THE COUNTRY GIRL and AWAKE AND SING. Last year, the actress won an Emmy for her part in the miniseries adaptation of OLIVE KITTERIDGE. Among her film credits are MOONRISE KINGDOM, BURN AFTER READING, FARGO, MISSISSIPPI BURNING, ALMOST FAMOUS, NORTH COUNTRY and more.
