A fresh look at WAITRESS: THE MUSICAL!

The brand new production of screen-to-stage adaptation WAITRESS is preparing for its premiere production in Cambridge, Massachusetts next month and a brand new tease of the show is available via photos in several new social media posts by The American Repertory Theater.

Today, several new pics of Sara Bareilles, Diane Paulus, Jessie Mueller and the cast in rehearsal were posted courtesy of Amanda Faye Martin.

Earlier this week, the official Facebook page posted a sneak peek of the show via a set photo showcasing designer Scott Pask's design for the show earlier this week, writing, "Onstage in rehearsal. Scott Pask's set comes to life. #WaitressART".

Additionally, the page shared a shot of lead Drew Gehling on Pask's set along with the band, commenting, "Drew Gehling having some fun on stage. #WaitressART".

Of note, the A.R.T. production is set to begin previews this August in Cambridge, Massachusetts, directed by Diane Paulus and choreographed by Chase Brock.

More information on WAITRESS is available at the official site here.

Scott Pask has designed sets for numerous plays and musicals on Broadway and beyond, with the current AN ACT OF GOD, SOMETHING ROTTEN!, FINDING NEVERLAND, IT'S ONLY A PLAY and THE BOOK OF MORMON among his most notable recent productions, along with recognizable work on THE VISIT, AIRLINE HIGHWAY, PIPPIN, HAIR, PROMISES, PROMISES, URINETOWN, NINE, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS and many more.
