Block, Espinosa, Kuhn and More Perform in March 13 Monday Nights, New Voices

On March 13th, the acclaimed "Monday Nights, New Voices" series will continue at The Duplex Cabaret Theatre.

The 7 PM concert at the Duplex Cabaret Theatre will celebrate the work of Neil Bartram, Barbara Anselmi and Scott Alan. Alan is also the producer of the series.

Performing the songs of Bartram, Anselmi and Alan will be Stephanie J. Block (the upcoming The Pirate Queen, Wicked tour, The Boy From Oz), Eden Espinosa (Wicked, Brooklyn), Jeffrey Kuhn (Assassins, Wicked), Sebastian Arcelus (Wicked tour, Good Vibrations), Jill Abramovitz (co-writer of The Wedding Project with Anselmi and Brian Hargrove), Christopher J. Hanke (In My Life), Mamie Parris (The Wedding Project), Lisa Brescia (The Woman in White, Aida) and Alysha Umpress (XL Star).

"Last month marked a year since composer Scott Alan set out to produce the monthly series that showcases up and coming talent at the Duplex Cabaret Theatre and teams them with established and up and coming composers in a one night only event. In the year since its debut, many of todays most acclaimed Broadway stars and composers have joined together to honor the New Voices for there exciting achievments and to celebrate there exciting future," state press notes.

Bartram's musicals include the upcoming Not Wanted on the Voyage and The Story of My Life, while Anselmi (who is also a music director) has penned the music of The Orphan Train, as well as upcoming projects The Wedding Project and Leonardo's Dream. Alan wrote the musical Detour and is developing and preparing his latest musical Piece.
