EOnline editor Marc Malkin has shared the news on Twitter that Billy Crystal will pay tribute to actor and comedian Robin Williams at this Monday's 66TH ANNUAL Primetime EMMY AWARDS.

Tweeted Malkin: "Just announced. @BillyCrystal will speak in tribute to #RobinWilliams at the @PrimetimeEmmys"

Today, Emmy producer Don Mischer told E! News. "We felt we needed to do something powerful and memorable. Billy seemed like the perfect choice."

Over the course of 20 years, Crystal and Williams, along with Whoopi Goldberg, raised over $80 million for people in need with their Comic Relief standup comedy specials. In addition, the actors co-starred in the 1997 film Father's Day.

Last week, Crystal tweeted the simple message, 'No Words' upon hearing of the tragic passing of his close friend and colleague.

Crystal appeared on Saturday Night Live from 1984 to 1985. He has also starred in The Princess Bride, When Harry Met Sally, Analyze This, Monster's Inc, Analyze That, Monster's University, and more. His Broadway credits include the Tony-winning 700 Sundays, which he also wrote.

Seth Meyers will take over the reins as host of the The 66th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, airing live on NBC coast-to-coast, Monday, Aug. 25 (5-8 p.m. PT/8-11 p.m. ET).
