Bernadette Peters Headlines TCU's SING FOR THE CURE Benefit Concert Tonight

By:

To celebrate its 10-year partnership with Susan G. Komen®, TCU's Frogs For The Cure is presenting a one-time-only exclusive concert evening, Sing For The Cure, tonight, October 29, at 7:30 p.m. at the Bass Performance Hall, located at 525 Commerce Street in downtown Fort Worth. All proceeds from the evening will benefit the Susan G. Komen® Greater Fort Worth Affiliate.

Sing For The Cure ticket prices range from $75-$250 and can be purchased online at Tickets.BassHall.com, by emailing FrogsForTheCure@gmail.com, or by calling 817-257-7254. Breast cancer survivors can also purchase tickets at a discounted rate of $65 by visiting www.BassHall.com/Promo and entering the code bebrave. Cocktail attire is advised.

Former first lady Laura Bush will open the event, CBS News' "Face The Nation" host Bob Schieffer and his 9-piece Honky Tonk Confidential Band will perform, and TCU's national breast cancer music video featuring Josh Groban's song "Brave" will debut. The mega-watt star for the second half of the show will be Tony Award-winning headline artist Bernadette Peters, who will perform with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra.

Frogs For The Cure -- with the support of pro bono videography, photography and production talent -- created the music video featuring Josh Groban's hit song, "Brave," to demonstrate the University's commitment to the cause. The video was filmed nationwide over the course of two months, with footage shot in five cities including Washington, D.C., Chicago, New York City, Los Angeles, and Fort Worth. After making its official debut at the Sing For The Cure Gala, the video will again be featured during the halftime celebration at TCU's annual Frogs For The Cure football game against Kansas State University on November 8, 2014.
