Behind the Book Reading Series at KGB Bar

Behind the Book is a nonprofit organization that promotes literacy and a passion for reading to kids at NYC public schools; but the popular Thursday series at KGB Bar in the East Village is for the grown-ups. Attracting such top-notch novelists as Hannah Tinti, Mary Gaitskill and Charles Bock, the series offers two or three writers each week reading from their work to a devoted crowd of book lovers.

Every Thursday at 7PM. Free admission. KGB Bar is located at
85 E 4th St between Bowery and Second Ave in Manhattan, NY.
