Bean, Levy, Foster And More Guest On New 'BATTERY'S DOWN' 9/1

Broadway's Shoshana Bean and Caissie Levy are among the guest stars appearing in "I Think I'm Gonna Like it Here," the latest episode of Jake Wilson's web series "The Battery's Down."

The September 1 episode, directed and choreographed by Connor Gallagher, stars Jake Wilson as a young performer who, along with his friends, navigates the world of showbiz in New York City. Series regulars include Andrew Keenan-Bolger (Mary Poppins, Spelling Bee), Dani Spieler (Legally Blonde) and Nina Sturtz (Vote The Musical).

Tony Award Winner Sutton Foster (Shrek the Musical, Little Women) will return to the series in Episode 14, along with singer/songwriter Shoshana Bean (Peep Show, Wicked), Hair's Levy, Susan Blackwell ([title of show]), Jenna Coker Jones (Evil Dead), John Hill (The Boy From Oz), Natalie Joy Johnson (Legally Blonde), Marla Mindelle (South Pacific), Toni Trucks (Barbershop) and Nikki Snelson (Legally Blonde, A Chorus Line).

The episode also boasts appearances from Chrissy Anderson, Sara Andreas, Kimee Balmilero, Thea Brooks, Kyle Brown, Heath Butler, Nigel Columbus, Brooke Engen, Tiffany Engen, Adrien Finkel, Ben D. Goldberg, David Havasi, Derek Krantz, Dana Kraft, Sean Krill, Steve Mazurek, Brian Patrick Murphy, Ryan O'Connor, Tera-Lee Pollin, Annie Ramsey, Micah Schraft, Darryl Semira, Tally Sessions, Sara Shepard, Joanna Strapp, Steven Wenslawski, Brandy Zarle and Adam Zelasko.

The Battery's Down has musical supervision by Adam Wachter and Episode 14 features three original songs by B.T. Ryback, Lance Horne, and John Hill and Micah Schraft.

The online series regularly features original songs by some of the best and brightest musical theatre writers, including Jeanine Tesori (Caroline, or Change, Violet) and Dick Scanlan (Everyday Rapture, Thoroughly Modern Millie), Glen Kelly (Young Frankenstein) and Lisa Lambert (The Drowsy Chaperone), Laurence O'Keefe (Legally Blonde, Bat Boy!), Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (Edges), David Kirshenbaum (Vanities), Kait Kerrigan and Brian Lowdermilk (The Unauthorized Biography of Samantha Brown), Michael Patrick Walker (Altar Boyz), Nick Blaemire (Glory Days), Josh Salzman and Ryan Cunningham (I Love You Because), Sean Mahoney (Factory Girls), Eric Day (Hameko and Lulu), and Ryan Scott Oliver and Kirsten A. Guenther (Mrs. Sharp).
Created by and starring University of Michigan graduate Wilson, "The Battery's Down" made its online premiere February 1, 2008, with a slew of Broadway talent.
